Abstract: Microwave assisting the addition reaction of Wang resin bound secondary amine 1 and isocyanate was carried out for the first time. The reaction time course was determined by analyzing FTIRspectra obtained using the improved KBr pellet method by grinding down the resin beads prior to recording. The results showed that the reaction assisted by microwave was accomplished only in 12min, while the reaction without microwave was completed in 210min.
