Abstract: By using surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy, we studied the redox process of Fe(CN)63-/4- couple on a roughened gold electrode surface. The results show that the Fe(CN)63- is much more strongly adsorbed on the gold electrode surface, and it is via CNligands interacting with gold electrode surfaces.
