The Synthesis and Structure of Large Crystal Cobalt Phosphate from Non-aqueous System

Abstract: Large single crystal of (C2H10N2)0.5 CoPO4 with novel open-framework structure was synthesized from non-aqueous system with ethylene glycol as the solvent.The crystal structure was solved by heavy atomic method and the crystal is monoclinic,space group P21/n with α=1.0410 (1) nm,b=0.8947 (1) nm,c=1.0414 (1) nm,β=90.085°,V=0.97002 (12) nm3,Z=4,Dc=1.832 mg·cm-3,R=0.063.
