Abstract: The interactions of diphenyltin dichloride(Ph2SnCl2)with nucleotides were studied in aqueous solutions. The new complexes of Ph2Sn(5'-AMP)·H2O, Ph2Sn(5'-CMP)·H2 and Ph2Sn(5'-GMP) were characterized by means of elementary analysis, thermal analysis, FTIR,1Hand 31PNMRspectra.In all the complexes, tin is only coordinated with the phosphate group of nucleotide, The possible structures of the new complexes are proposed.
