Molecular Recognition of Maltose by Tetrakis(sulfonic acid-benzene)Porphyrin

Abstract: We studied that molecular recognition of Mono-and disaccharidies by watersoluble porphyrin using UV-vis titration method. The results shown that the tetrakis(sufonicacid-benzene) porphyrin has selective recognition to Maltose,The association constant between them was determined.
