Synthesis of New Unsymmetrical Bisarylazoderivatives of Chromotropic Acid and Effect of Their Structure on Colour Reaction with Rare Earth,Thorium and Bismuth

Abstract: Eight unsymmetrical bisarylazoderivatives of chromotropic acid such as 2, 6-dichloro(bromo)chlorophosphonazo, 2, 6-dichloro(bromo)arsenazo and so on have been synthesized.The dissociation equillibrium of new chromogenic reagents have been investigated and their dissociation constants have been determined.These chromogenic reagents are applied to the determined rare earths,thorium and bismuth.
