Abstract: The studies of adsorption, desorption and PVproperties on ethanol and water through silicalite-Ⅰfilled PDMSmembranes indicate that the adsorption capacity and PVflux on ethanol are distinctly larger than those on water, t he attainment of adsorption and desorption equilibrium on ethanol is quicker than that on water. DSCtest shows that m. p.of acetone which adsorbed on membranes whether filled or not filled with silicalite-Ⅰare raised up, which indicates that there is a strong interaction between organic solvent and PDMSmembrane. Moreover, as the zeolite content is about 30 wt%, there is a change that the continuity of silicone rubber matrix in zeolite filled membrane is destroyed.
