Research on the Synthesis of Anion Starch Microspheres and Their Properties

Abstract

Abstract: The anion starch microspheres(PSM) have been synthesized from starch or starch derivatives by the counter suspension crosslinking polymerization in the presence of POCl₃ as the crosslinking agent.Another anion starch microspheres(TSM) are made of neutral starch microspheres by the secondary polymerization and anionization using Na₃P₃O₉ as the crosslinking agent.Their surface morphology, size distribution, characters of swelling and adsorbability for drug carrying have been studied in this paper.
