Abstract: In this paper, selecting (SPAN80 + OP10) complex and K2S2O8-Na2SO3 redox system as the emulsifier and initiator, respectively, the inverse microemulsion copolymerization of (2-methacryloyloxyethyDtrimethyl ammonium chloride and acrylamide was developed. The effects of monomer's ratio, electrolyte concentration and oil/water ratio on the molecular weight and cationic strength of copolymer were studied.

Key words: (2-Methacryloyloxyethyl) trimethyl ammonium chloride, Acrylamide, Inverse mi-croemulsion copolymerization
