Abstract: The pure product of p-aminophenol(PAP)-H2O2-horse peroxidase(HRP) of H2O2 oxidizing PAPcatalyzed by HRPwas prepared with chemical method. The enzyme-catalyzed reaction was investigated by electroanalytical chemistry, UV-Vis, IR,13C NMR, 1H NMR, mass spectrum and elemental analysis etc.. Under the selected enzyme-catalyzed reaction conditions, the oxidation product of PAPwith H2O2 catalyzed by HRPis 3,4-di-[(4-hydroxyphenyl)amino]-6-[(4-hydroxyphenyl)imino]-2,4-cyclo-hexadiene-1-one.
