Abstract: A three-dimensional silver coordination polymer, [Ag3(IN)2(CF3COO)](IN=Isonicotinic acid), was synthesized under mild hydrothermal conditions and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallizes in the triclinic space group P-1, with unit cell parameters a=0.91848(5) nm, b=1.01392(6) nm, c=1.06705(6) nm, Z=2, R1=0.0365, wR2=0.0955. The Ag centers are bridged by the IN and CF3CO2 ligands to form three-dimensional structure. There are strong Ag-Ag bond interaction in the framework.
