The Crystal Structure of JR-( -)-Chloromethyl-4-Ethylsilatrane

Abstract

Abstract: The title compounds crystallized in orthorhombic system with space group P2₁2₁2₁ and cell dimensions a = 7. 964 (2)Å , b = 9.047(4)Å, c= 16. 864(8)Å , V=1215.0Å³, Z=4, D_e= 1. 375 g ·cm^-1, λ=1. 5418 A, μ=13.067 cm^-1. The structure was solved by direct method and refined by block-matrix least-squares. The final discrepancy factors are R=0. 034 and R_w=0.040 for 959 reflections with I>2. 5<r(I). The Si←Nbond length is 2.102(3)Å.
