Recent Progress in Pyridinium\|based Anion Receptors

Abstract: This review summarizes the recent development of the pyridinium-based receptors in the field of anion recognition and sensing. It covers the main design principles, anion recognition abilities and mechanisms of the pyridinium-based receptors including acyclic, macrocyclic and interlocked systems.
