Enzyme-promoting Ring-opening Polymerization of Phosphate Coating Chloroethoxy Functional Group

Abstract: The polyphosphates with pendent chloroethyloxy group were synthesized by using PPL and PPL immobilized on silica nanoparticles as catalyst, respectively. The results indicated that the reaction conditions such as enzyme concentration, temperature and reaction time exerted a considerable influence on the molecular weight and yield of the polyphosphates and in the case of using immobilized PPL as catalyst, relatively higher molecular weight(Mn) could be obtained. Recycle use of the immobilized PPL was also preliminarily investigated.
