Abstract: The p-tert-butyl calix[4]arene and polypropylene blend was prepared, and effects of p-tert-butyl-calix[4]arene on the thermal oxidation stability of polypropylene blend were studied by means of thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA).Treated with Coasts-Redfern equation we found that the apparent degradation reaction order of the p-tert-butyl-calix[4]arene and polypropylene blend is 1.413 and the activation energy of degradation reaction is 154.899 kJ/mol.
