Abstract: It is the first time to trace the whole process of styrene bulk polymerization continuously using the dynamic light scattering experiment. The scattering intensity, the diffusive coefficients and the molecular weight distribution of the polymer during the process of the polymerization were studied, and some information about the physics states of the polymerization system and the active polymer chains was obtained, such as the microinhomogeneity of the glassy state and the rigidity of active molecular chains and so on.
