Abstract: Enzyme-amplified lanthanide luminescence (EALL)is a new method which has been recently developed for enzymatically amplified signal detection in ultrasensitive bioanalytical assays where an enzyme is used as label or analysed by itself. In the paper, Horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-Terbium-p-hydroxybenzoic acid system has been studied. The EALLmethod has also been demonstrated for the detection of HRPand tuberculosis antibody.

Key words: Enzyme-amplified lanthanide luminescence spectrometry, Horseradish peroxidase, Tuberculosis antibody
