Studies on the Synthesis, Structure and Properties of Cluster [Fe(DMF)6][W2S6]

Abstract: A novel cluster [Fe(DMF)6][W2S6] was prepared by using(NH4)2WS4,FeCl3 and NaS2CNC5H10 as the reaction materials.Its structure was determined by X-ray method.The parameters of the crystal cell for the compound are a=0.8778(1)nm,b=0.9467(3)nm,c=l.1362(6)nm,α=71.506(1)°o,β=74.775(2)°,γ=74.775(2)°,V=0.84806 nm3 and Z=1.The structure was refined by block-diagonal matrix least square method,and the final agreement factor is R=0.0811.Moreover,the infrared spectra and UV-Visible spectra were measured.
