α-Oxo Ketene Cyclic Dithioacetal Chemistry(Ⅴ)——Synthesis of β,β-1,3-Dithiopropylidene-α,β-unsaturated Aryl Ketones

Abstract: Seven title compounds were synthesized from aryl ketones with active methylene.It is proved that potassium tert-butoxide is an effective base in this procedure.When the proportion of substrate :carbon disulfide :potassium tert-butoxide i 1,3-dibromopropane is 1:1:2:1.0-1.1,the reaction gave the best yield.In the reaction,the proper concentration to potassium tert-butoxide is 0.4-0.6 mol/Land 1,3-dibromopropane is more effective than 1,3-dichloropropane as the halohy-drocarbon.In the products,2b~2g are new compounds.
