Studies on Syntheses of Macrocyclic Polyether Compounds (Ⅲ)——Syntheses of 6-Alkoxy-dibenzo-16-crown-5

Abstract

Abstract: This paper reports the syntheses of a new groups of 6-alkoxy-dibenzo-16-crown-5 compounds Ⅲ_a-h.The reaction of 6-hydroxy-dibenzo-16-crown-5 with metal sodium produced a sodium alkoxide in anhydrous benzene and anhydrous 1,4-dioxane.When the sodium salt underwent condensation reaction with dimethyl sulfate, bromoethane, i-butyl iodide, 1-bromobutane, 1-bromopentane, 1-bromoheptane, 1-bromohexadecane and benzyl bromide, respectively, eight kinds of corresponding crown ether compounds were obtained.
