Eu2+和Mn2+在Sr3MgSi2O8中的光致发光研究

Photoluminescence of Eu2+and Mn2+ in Sr3MgSi2O8

摘要: 研究了Eu2+和Mn2+共激活的Sr3MgSi2O8的荧光性质.Eu2+和Mn2+在460nm和690nm的发射峰分别由Eu2+的5d→4f跃迁和Mn2+的4T1(4G)→6A1R(6S)跃迁产生.未观察到单掺杂Mn2+的Sr3MgSi2O8的荧光发射,而掺入Eu2+后则出现了Mn2+的690nm光致发光峰,表明Eu2+对Mn2+有敏化作从Eu2+的荧光寿命也受Mn2+含量的影响.实验结果表明,在Sr3MgSi2O8基质中存在着Eu2+对Mn2+的能量传递,属于电偶极-电偶极相互作用引起的共振能量传递.

Abstract: The fluorescence of Eu2+ and Mn2+ coactivated Sr3MgSi2O8 was studied.The emission bands of Eu2+ and Mn2+ peaking at 460 nm and 690 nm are originated from 5d-4f transition of Eu2+ and 4T1, (4G)-6A1g(6S) transition of Mn2+ respectively.The fluorescence of Mn2+, singly doped in Sr3MgSi2O8 has not been observed.However, codoping with Eu2+makes photoluminescence of Mn2+ apPear at 690 nm.This shows that the emission of Mn2+is sensitized by Eu2+, and then the fluorescence lifetime of Eu2+ is affected by Mn2+.The ex-perimental results indicate that there exists an effective energy transfer from Eu2+ to Mn2+ in Sr3MgSi2O8 host.This kind of energy transfer is due to the electric dipole-dipole interaction of the resonance transfer.
