Abstract: Anew metallic anion adsorbent quinine-loaded active carbon was prepared.ICP AESwas used to study its adsorptive property for metallic anion WO42-.The chemicalstability of the adsorbent was investigated. The effects of different concentrations of HCl andNH3· H2Osolution on adsorption rate and desorption rate as well as the interference effectsof some other ions were studied respectively. The method has been applied to thedetermination of trace tungsten in standard reference sample GSD-11.
