Abstract: Under the condition of weak acidity, a sensitive film was prepared through the electropolymerization of o-aminophenol on a glassy carbon electrode surface in the presence of mitoxantrone which was considered as the template. A mitoxantrone sensor based on molecular imprinting was obtained. The sensor exhibits a good selectivity and sensitivity to mitoxantrone. The determination limit of the mitoxantrone was 1.6×10-7 mol/L, and a linear relationship between the peak current and the mitoxantrone concentration was found in the range from 3.3×10-7 to 1.0×10-5 mol/L and from 1.0×10-5 to 5.0×10-5 mol/L. Also, the configuration and characteristics of the film were investigated in detail.
