Syntheses and Spectroscopic Study of Three Difunctional Photorefractive Model Molecules

Abstract: The syntheses and spectroscopic properties of three difunctional photorefractive model molecules ethyl[2-cyano 3-(9-ethylcarbazol-3-yl)]acrylate(ECEA), 2-(4-nitrophenyl)3 (9-ethylcarbazol-3-yl)-acrylonitrile(NPEA) and 9-ethylcarbazol-3-azo-(4-nitrobenzene)(ECAN) are reporteDIn this paper. The results indicate that the spectroscopic properties are influenced by the structure of three molecules and these molecules belong to p-type semiconductor.
