Synthesis and Crystal Structure of [Et₄N)_1.5{Li(H₂O)₆}_0.5] [Cd₂(SC₆H₄Bu^t-4)₆]·EtOH

Abstract

Abstract: The title complex was synthesized and structurally characterized.The crystal belongs to the space group C2/c, α= 5.727(3) nm, 6= 1.2059(3) nm, c=2.5245(16) nm, β=101.39(5)°, V = 17.0921(5) nm³, D_c=l.178 g/cm, Z=8, R=0.076 for 4692 unique reflections [F≥4.0σ (F)].The cadmium is tetrahedral coordination with two terminal and two bridging ligands.The central M₂S₂ ring is planar and approximately rectangular.
