Synthesis and Activity of Heteropolysilicotungstate Containing Transition Metal Elements

Abstract: The heteropolysilicotungstates containing transition metal elements Mn2+, Co2+ and Ni2+ were synthesized.IRspectra and TPDof the samples adsorbing pyrMine were determined.The IRspectra of the heteropoly compounds are different from those of 12-silicotungtic acid and its potassium salt; the adsorption peak at 1438 cm-1 is visible, even if the sample was treated for 1 h at 200℃ under 0.5 Pa vacuum.The result implies that Lewis acid site exists in the compound.The acid site corresponds to the medium temperature peak on TPDpattern of the compoud adsorbing pyridine.
