Studies on the Synthesis and Biological Activity of N-Aryl-N'-(5-Aryl-2-Furoyl )Thiourea Derivatives

Abstract

Abstract: In this paper,forty new N-aryl-N'-(5-aryl-2-furoyl)thiourea derivatives were synthesized under the condition of solid-liquid phase transfer catalysis,the compositions and structures of which were confirmed by elemental analysis,UV,IR,and ¹H NMR spectroscopic measurements.Compared with classical methods,this one has the advantages of simple operation,mild conditions and high yields.The promoting effects of these new compounds on wheat growth were tested preliminary.
