Abstract: A new method for the preparation of Ni/carbonaceous resin catalyst with high degree of nickel dispersion and high mechanical strength is described in this paper. The results obtained by using this catalyst for the microdetermination of organic oxygen in coulometric method are satisfactory.Besides, the valent state of Ni,the surface shape and distribution of Ni on this catalyst and the effect of Ni content on the catalytic activity were studied.
