Abstract: Rheological properties of chlorinated poly (vinyl chloride)/styrene maleic anhydride copolymer (CPVC/SMA) blends were studied. It is shown that the relationship between viscosity and shear rate for each blend may be expressed with a second order equation, and the relationship between viscosity and shear stress with Sper.cer-Dillon experiential equation. The viscosity of system at 180℃ or 190℃ showc a minimum with increasing shear rate at SMA content 20%.and the minimum at 205 ℃ disappears at SMA content 20%.
