Abstract: The interfacial chemistry for D2EHPA(Di(2-ethyl-hexyl) phosphoric acid)-M1PAor M2PA(two monophosphoric acid extractants with a long-chain)-Al3+ and D2EHPA-MEHPA (mono(2-cthyl hexyl)phosphoric acid)-Al3+ mixed extraction systems was studiedIt was found that, compared with individual extraction system alone, the mixed extraction systems show a particular advantage improvement in the interfacial characteristics of the systemsThe extraction kinetics and interfacial chemistry study indiate that the process of aluminium extraction by micella mixed extraction system(D2EHPA-M1PA) is controlled by the chemical reaction in combination with diffusion, while the controlling reaction occurred inside the micella phase.
