Magnetic Properties and Electronic Structures of Dinuclear Copper Complexes of Pyrazole-3,5-bis(N-alkylformamides)

Abstract: Three analogous compounds of dinuclear copper complexes with bridged pyrazole molecules were synthesizedThe ESRspectrum of [((Pz)-3, 5-(CONMe)2Cu)2(H2O)(NO3)](NO3) powder was used to estimate the values of g and gThen the experimental data of variable temperature susceptibility were fitted to the Bleaney-Bowers equation and the results show that the magnetic properties of the three compounds are all strongly antiferromagneticSemiempirical MOmethod was used to analyze their magnetic exchange paths.
