Separation and Determination of Ln3+-5-Br-PADAP Complexes by HPLC

Abstract: In this paper, a reversed-phase HPLCis employed to the separation and determination of complexes of Ln3+-5-Br-PADAPon a C18(5 μm, 150 × 6.0 mm i.d.) column.The pre-column derivatization method was used.We studied the effects of the composition of mobile phase, the amount of buffer in the mobile phase, foreign ions, the column temperature and the flow rate on the separation and determination of Ln3+-5-Br-PADAPand determined the rare earth element in mineral.
