Abstract: Four Yzeolites with varying ratios of SiO2/Al2O3 were prepared. Athermodynamic study was made on the Na→Tb exchange reactions in these zeolites at 303 and 333 K. The thermodynamic equilibrium constants lnK., the standard free energy decreases -△G°, the standard enthalpy changes △H°,the standard entropy changes △S°of the exchange, and the activity coefficients and the excess free energies in the zeolites were determined. The dependences of these values on the charge density are reasonably explained by the double electric layer theory.
