Preparation of Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-O Micro-powder by Sol-Gel Method

Abstract: This paper reports the preparation processes of Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca-Cu-Omicro-powder by Sol-Gel method, using metal acetates as starting materials. Wanalyzed the mechanisms of decomposition of synthesized powders and their crystallization behavior by means of thermo-gravimetric analysis, differential thermal analysis, infrared spectra and X-ray diffraction. Also we determined the sizes of powder decomposed at different temperatures by using transmission electron microscope. Meanwhile a high -Tcceramic superconductor which has 2223 as the main phase and zero resistance 105Kwas fabricated by using these micro-powders.
