Abstract: A new water-soluble poly(p-phenylene vinylene-co-methacrylic acid) copolymer was synthesized based on the introducing non-conjugated water-soluble group to conjugated backbone, which was different from previous works by functionalizing the fully conjugated group side chains to obtain water-solubility. The synthesized copolymer exhibits efficient blue emission.
