Abstract: According to the hypothesis of "Maintaining normal configuration", the polymers with the structure of sulfo-ammonium inner salt would be nonthrombogenic. In this paper, a series of polymers of 3-N,N-dimethyl-3-N-methacryloyloxyethyl ammonium propanesulfonate(DMAPS) and its copolymers with polyethyleneglycol monomethylether methacrylate were prepared by using different concentrations of monomers and crosslinking agent. Their blood compatibilities were evaluated by platelet adhesion method. The results show that PDMAPS is of excellent platelet adhesion resistance.
