Abstract: The interaction of Cd2+ with the Aconfigurational doublestranded helix poly (I:C) was studied by rnelting curves,circular dichroism spectra,absorption spectra and fluorescence measurement.The results show that Cd2+ stabilizes the Aconfigurational poly (I: C) and binds to the negatively charged phosphates in poly(I: C).The binding constant of Cd2+ with poly(I:C) is(4.0±0.3) ×103 (mol/L)-1.
