Studies on ESR Spectra of Mgo Crystal Treated by Shock Wave and Its Activity for Isomerization of Butene-1

Abstract: After being treated by shock wave,Fcolor centers are formed on MgO crystaland some new signals of free radical(O2-) appear in the ESRspectrum,The results of isomerization of butene-1 showed that the MgO crystal treated by shock wave exhibits a higherconversion of butene-1 and higher yield of cis-butene due to an increase in defects.
