Abstract: In this paper, the effect of the third component on the catalytic properties of Cu-Co catalysts for the selective synthesis of alcohols from COand H2 was studied.The results show that the third component can influence the reduction property of Co which would influence the activity and selectivity of alcohol synthesis.
