The Electrocatalytic Oxidation of Ascorbic Acid on Nickel Hexacyanoferrate Film Modified Electrode

Abstract: The nickel hexacyanoferrate (NiHCF) film modified electrode was made by electrochemically depositing method.The electrocatalytic oxidation of ascorbic acid (AH2) on the electrode was described.The oxidation peak potential shifts negatively 300 mV.The modified electrode can be used for determination of ascorbic acid in the concentration range of 1.0× 10-7~1.0×10-2 mol/L.This method has been applied successfully to the analysis of ascorbic acid in fruits and vegetables.
