Abstract: Interpenetrating polymer network materials based on castor oil urethane acrylate (network Ⅰ) and a castor oil-polypropyleneoxide tolylene diisocyanate urethane system (network Ⅱ) were synthesized by using thermo- and photo-polymerization alternately. The dynamic mechanical and stress strain properties of IPNsamples with different weight ratio of network Ⅰ and network Ⅱ and varying molar ratio components in network Ⅱ were also investigated. The dynamic mechanical spectra shows that all the samples exhibit two TAN maxima which indicate a two phase morphology. The stress at break was found to increase with increasing the network Ⅰ and the different molar ratios in network Ⅱ and possess a considerable effect on the tensile properties.
