Novel Synthesis of Bis(4-bromophenyl)phosphine Oxide and Its Application in the Preparation of Water-soluble Phosphine Precursors

Abstract: A more convenient and economic method has been developed for synthesizing bis (4 bromophenyl)phosphine oxide in a high yield, which was introduced to prepare three water soluble phosphine precursors successfully. All new compounds were fully characterized by IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, 31PNMR, MALDI TOFMS and elemental analyses.
