Abstract: The method has been put forward to analyze the content of D-ribose obtained from glucose zymotic fluid. D-ribose was determined by HPLC, on a Sugar PakⅠcolumn, by using a refractive index detector and a mobile phase of pure water. We have also studied the separation conditions of sugars. It has many advantages, such as rapid analysis, high sensitivity and high precision and good reproducibility. The recovery of D-ribose were 95.5%—104%, RSDwere less than 1.5%, the detection limit of D-Ribose was 50 ng.
