An Investigation on Analytical Peformance of Microwave Plasma Obtained with Surfatron and Microwave Plasma Torch

Abstract: Surfatron and microwave plasma torch(MPT)are two types of microwave plasma(MWP) sustaining devices. In this paper, the performance of these devices used in atomice mission spectrometry was examined. The experimental results indicate that both surfatron and MPT have some advantages, However, the overall performance of the latter is better than that of the former.
