Abstract: This paper reports preconcentration and separation of trace elements with silica gel bonded by acid chrome blue K(ACBK·SG).ACBK·SG is stable in the range of 6 mol/L HCl to pH=8.0 and in common organic solvents such as ethanol or acetone,Maximum adsorption capacity of Pd(Ⅱ)on ACBK·SG is 172 μmol/g,Pd(Ⅱ)and Pt(Ⅳ)of 10-9/g can be separated from transition metal ions on ACBK·SG column and measured by spectrophotometry.

Key words: ACBK·SG, Preconcentration and separation, Spectrophotometry, Pd(Ⅱ), Pt(Ⅳ)
