Abstract: A series of water-soluble N-substituted iminodiacetato diamine platinum complexes were synthesized and characterized by IRand 13C NMRThe results show that iminodiacetate coordinates towards platinum through nitrogen and one of the two carboxyl groupsThe conductivity data indicate the complexes are relatively stable in aqueous solutionHPLCwas used to study the complexation of Guanosine with Pt complexes and the kinetic results give that the reaction rate is cis-platin>carboplatin>iminodiacetatoplatinum.
