Abstract

Abstract: Å novel secondary metabolite,lobocalone(1),was isolated from the soft coral Lobophytum caieilonen.se Tix Dur collected from the South China Sea.Its structure and relative stereochemistry were determined mainly by one and two-dimensional NMRand NOESYas(1R^*,3R^*,4R^*)-3-(1'-methyl)vinyl-4-methyl-4-vinylcyclohexyl methyl ketone.
