Abstract: Adaptive Kalman Filtering Spectrophotometry is developed for simultaneous determination of contents of sulfisomezol(SMZ), trimethoprim(TMP) and sulfadiazine(SD) contained in enhaced sulfisomezol compound capsules. The average recoveries(%) were 99. 8, 99. 9 and 100. 0 respectively. The variation coefficients (%) are 1. 5, 1. 7 and 1. 1 respectively. The results of Adaptive Kalman Filter were slightly better than those of original Kalman Filter. Adaptive Kalman Filter may provide a new approach to determine the concentrations from overlapped spectral data without any preliminary chemical separation.
