Abstract: The synthesis of ostrinia nubilaiis sex pheromone (11-tetradecene-l-ol acetate) was studied. 10-Undecen-1-ol was used as starting material, Wittig reaction was carried out in NaH/DMSO-THF.The result of GC analysis indicates that the ratio of cis- and trans- isomers is corresponding to the requirement of its biological activity.
