Abstract: A fludized cathode was employed to treat waste water containg copper in which the electrodeposit copper concentration were in 0-5kg/m3range and the waste water was acidified to pH≤1. 5.Superficial current densities were 280A/m2, while the copper was deposited about 0.12 kg per hour. Current efficiency could be over 93%, and power consumption per kilogram of copper deposited was 2.7-3.0 kW·h. It has both benefit public and economic.
